You Are Human
A quick reminder.
The human experience is one that's fraught with tunnels, landmines and curveballs. Today I’m not writing about these externals that define our journeys but our make-up, our genetic codes, the internals that influence our experiences.
Dear Pilgrim,
You are intrinsically flawed, howbeit loved. You're imperfect but perfectly hetched in the Father's grand plan. For God so loved the world not a bunch of qualified people.
Give yourself credit for how far you've come. Look at you, you're not exactly the same person you were last year. Give yourself credit for your small wins.
If you woke up today feeling inadequate, remember again that you're human. It's the cross of our flesh. You're never going to be perfect but you're always going to be perfectly loved by God. This you can bank on, forever.
You will sometimes respond to your trauma. You will make mistakes. You will fall, seven times. But you'll also rise the 8th. It's part of our divine curriculum. You'll be weary but you'll also be strengthened. The ups and downs are normal. Your frustration is because you think you are not meant to experience all these. Normalise not winning all the time.
I'm rooting for you today. May your road be smoother and your burden lightened.
